Back from pangkor (updated version)

Yea, I'm back from pangkor. Overall the trip was fun. Even learnt how to play poker from Chung Yi, Choon Lim and Chin Wei. Kam Yoong, Zhen-Howe and Chung Wye gave me some pointers. So confusing. Poker is actually quite addictive once you get a hang of it. Lol. Chung Yi was very nice to give me some chips when he won and Chin Wei didn't take away my chips when he won, benefits of being a newbie. Haha. Aaron showed me magic using cards. One word describes it, WOW. Lol. Kam Yoong showed me magic too. It was hilarious, but at least Kam Yoong made some progress with his skills at the end of the day :)

During the first night, Ji Ann and I couldn't sleep so we went to the living room where Chin Wei and Choon Lim were still awake. Robin came in and all of a sudden all of us were sharing ghost stories. I couldn't sleep after that. I feel so bad for making Robin stay awake with me till 4am. I found out that I still manage to feel fresh after 3 hours of disturbed sleep. I think I woke up at almost every hour from 4 something to 7. O.o" But during poker night with the guys cannot tahan already. Haha. Even had the floating feeling as if I was still on the boat.

Did I mention that I went cruising? I witness sunset out at sea. So beautiful. Orange, red and yellow all blended in nicely. The work of Mother Nature. Truly magnificent I would say. How many chances does one get to actually watch the sun set at sea? Still waiting for the photos on facebook. Haha. By the way, I actually thought that I was hallucinating already when I had the floating feeling at night due to sleep debt.

Pangkor is a very nice island. Really. Oh, I also learned a fun fact. If the sand is white, that means there are corals nearby, if its yellowish then no corals. Saw sea cucumbers and a sea urchin. The uncle who showed us the sea urchin said, " Aiya, inside no meat 1" because someone said that he wanted to eat or something but I can't recall who. Haha. Sea cucumbers are no fun to handle. Chung Wye got goo all over his legs when he was holding one. The goo looked like some kind of glue.

Dinner during the trip was not bad at all. In fact it exceeded all of our expectations. Too bad the crab was not fresh or the meals would have been almost perfect.

On the way back to KL, we stopped at Sungkai. I didn't even know that there were hot springs in Malaysia. Don't know if the ones at Sungkai are real or not but they were really fun. We went to rendam our legs in the water. So nice and comfortable. There was even one that can only be used to cook eggs. No cockles or any other shellfish, vegie and food.

I hope to have another trip like this again with my friends :) It's not often we get to go on trips together.
